"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." -Arthur C. Clarke Welcome to January's "Mysteries of the Mind" monthly newsletter! A few nights ago, 60 Minutes ran the story "Reading My Mind" In which the interviewer was amazed at how millions of dollars of computing power and a lab full of scientists could divine which of a mere 10 items a person was thinking of. Too bad she hadn't seen my show first! All people desire to read the minds of others; to know what our bosses, co workers, clients or significant others are thinking. That is the joy, entertainment and wide spectrum appeal of my live presentations. A highlight of "Mysteries of the Mind" occurs when the audience members work in teams, and learn how easily they read the thoughts of those around them. This is one demonstration that keeps people talking about teamwork and customer service all day on the trade show floor! If you like the concepts presented in my show but can't attend one of my performances in person, you might want to learn more about the Mysteries of the Mind by reading articles online in one of the best general science magazines on the topic: Scientific American Mind. I am available for bookings in theaters, universities, banquet halls, trade shows and hospitality suites. "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein Please stay in touch, Paul Draper Mentalmysteries (My web site) Mentalmystery (My Agent Friendly site) P.S.
